Lead Practitioner – Traditional Thai Massage

Job Description

A wellness center based in Geneva is seeking a lead practitioner specializing in traditional Thai massage to oversee and expand its Asian wellness services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Traditional massage and aromatherapy treatments
  • Transmission and Application of Traditional Thai Massage Techniques
  • Supervision and coordination of a team of practitioners
  • Ensuring the quality of services and compliance with hygiene standards
  • Welcoming and advising international clients
  • Assistance with the operational organization of the massage service

Qualifications

  • Certified training in traditional Thai massage offered by a recognized institution in Thailand
  • Additional training in anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Experience in the professional practice of traditional Thai massage
  • Ability to supervise or coordinate a team of practitioners
  • Fluency in Thai and French
  • Customer service orientation and the ability to thrive in an international environment

Strengths

  • Certification in Aromatherapy
  • College education or management skills

Profile required:

  • Hotel school diploma preferred
  • Proven experience: minimum 3 years in a similar position
  • Perfect command of French (spoken and written) - fluent expression, poised tone, well-crafted vocabulary
  • English preferred - professional level required to interact with our international clientele (any other language is an asset)
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor in daily tasks, effective management of workflows, priorities and unforeseen events
  • Impeccable presentation and an elegant attitude in all circumstances - you embody the image of the center.
  • Mastery of cash management procedures, including daily closings
  • Strong service and sales skills: comfortable with personalized advice and promotion of treatments and products
  • Mastery of reception tools (MindBody, excel, Tipee), making customer appointments, managing, optimizing and monitoring freelance and salaried therapist schedules, managing customer requests.
  • A taste for teamwork: caring, mutual aid and solidarity are essential
  • Good command of reception-related IT tools
  • Autonomy, reliability, responsiveness, with excellent team spirit
  • Positive attitude, diplomacy and communication skills - even under pressure

Conditions:

  • Start date: immediate
  • Working time: 40%, based on 44 hours per week
  • Possible overtime
  • Work from Monday to Saturday, on a rotating schedule between receptionists
  • Remuneration: according to profile and experience
