The origin of "Ko" (ancient) "bi" (beauty) "do" (way) dates back to the year 1472. Kobido means "Ancient Way of Beauty", and belongs to the category of lymph drainage.
This facial modelling was an exceptional treatment reserved exclusively for the Imperial family, the Japanese elite and geishas.
It was developed by two masters from the Anma, the ancestor of Shiatsu.
The Kobido allows to boost the micro circulation of the face, to give radiance to the skin, to promote the production of natural collagen, to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, to plump up the skin, to regenerate the epidermis, to eliminate toxins and by extension to improve psychological well-being as well as the quality of sleep.
During a Kobido session, the face is cleansed, moisturized and energized through the stimulation of the meridians.
Practiced regularly, Kobido helps to combat facial ageing by reducing the effects of fatigue and stress on expression lines and by fighting skin slackening.
You will remain dressed during the massage. Indeed, the treated parts, your neck and face do not require you to undress. However, for your comfort, we recommend that you wear an outfit in which you are comfortable.
This modeling is a harmonious blend of kneading, pinching, palpating, rolling, rhythmic and regular percussion of the hand on every square inch of your skin.
In order to get the most out of this treatment, it is advisable to come without make-up.
Drink plenty of water after each treatment as it helps prevent muscle dehydration and helps your body eliminate accumulated toxins that were released during the massage.
